Objective

Encourage students to make a career in STEM. During this summer camp students will interact with Mentors (B.Tech, M.Tech students of IITs, NITs) and understand science & Math in more practical and fun way.

The opening ceremony of Summer School "Prerana 2025" held on June 3, 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by the participation from students and the following dignitaries:

Teaching Methodology

The teaching during the Summer School 2025 was based on the latest NCERT syllabus.
Mentors used bilingual instructions (English and Hindi) to ensure every student could understand the topics clearly.
All mentors treat students as a friend, so that students don’t hesitate to ask any question.
Laboratory sessions were held every day to give students hands-on experience and students shows more interest during practical.

Visit of Mobile Science lab

Mobile Science lab (MSL) named Circus of Science or Vigyan ka Jantar Mantar, run by SPSTI, that visited on 14 & 16 June, 2025. In these two days’ workshop, following activities were carried out:

Sky Watch Program

In the evening of June 14, the Sky Watch “Sitaron Se Mulaqat” session was held with participation from over 90 people. Sh. Darshan Lal Baweja (Science Communicator) introduced students to telescopes and mobile astronomy apps like:

Excursion Trip

To enrich the scientific understanding and exposure of students through real-world learning experiences, an educational excursion to the National Science Centre, Delhi, was organized on 19th June 2025 as a part of the “PRERANA 2025” Summer School activities.

The Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony of the “PRERANA 2025” Summer School in Science and Mathematics, organized by the Society for Promotion of Science & Technology in India (SPSTI), was held on 24th June 2025 at Government Model Sanskriti Sr. Sec. School, Model Town, Sonipat.

Address by the Chief Guest

The Chief Guest, Shri Harshit Kumar, IAS, addressed the audience with encouraging words. He commended the initiative by SPSTI and emphasized the importance of such science programs in building a foundation for innovation, curiosity, and national development through education.
