Objective

To increase awareness about menstrual health and hygiene among adolescent girls and women. The program aims to improve access to high-quality menstrual hygiene products by providing free sanitary pads, particularly to those in underserved or disadvantaged communities, thereby helping to promote dignity, empowerment, and better health outcomes for women and girls.

Program Overview

• Awareness Sessions: The program conducts educational sessions to raise awareness about menstrual health, addressing biological aspects of menstruation, proper hygiene practices, and dispelling myths and taboos
• Free Distribution of Sanitary Pads: High-quality sanitary pads are distributed at no cost to beneficiaries to promote safe menstrual practices and increase access among girls who may not be able to afford them.
• Safe Disposal Mechanisms: Guidance is provided on safe and environmentally-friendly disposal of used menstrual products, along with advocacy for better sanitation infrastructure in schools and public spaces.
